Maxdaemon
Maxdaemon is a web application server framework. It comprises a fast, lightweighted HTTP server with three kinds of CGI interfaces, a run-time system and applications, a web server and host manager with a web browser surface, a web server platform, as well as a development, integration, distribution and production environment.

The framework can be configured for various purposes and is running on (Debian) Unix hosts.
It is interesting for Perl developer, because the Maxdaemon HTTP server
and library are implemented in Perl and might be usefull to set up
a network of hosts for secure peer-to-peer communication over the Internet.
